Singapore- Sunday, 16th October 2016: Rainbow  CC, defeated  SL Troopers in a nail biting match,  at Sengkang Cricket League (SCL) – the biggest  tennis ball tournament in Singapore with 1200 players in a single tournament.

Rainbow  CC won the champions trophy and 1000$ prize money, while runner up SL Troopers could take home with runner-up trophy and $700 prize money .

SL troopers won the toss and bat and rainbow, after  the rain last night, seen an opportunity and  skittle for 47 and  SL troopers fought back valiantly like their semi-final performance, outing defending the same number of runs. Rainbow struggled and lost 7 wickets  but prevailed

Sengkang Cricket Ground (SCG) witnessed  17 half centuries and 16 players with 5 wickets haul and 4  hat trick trophies for their outstanding performances in SCL.

Lighting Hawks and Strikers won trophies  and shared 700 $  between them for reaching semifinals.

Neelakandan of Rainbow CC won Champion of Champions for his all-round performances for his team. Don  Bagya  Madhava –  Ceylon Lions  with total aggregate score of close to 250 runs  adjudged as best Batsman.  Kani  -CricFighters  &  Gayan Sanjeeva – SL Troopers, with 23 wickets each shared the best bowler of the league.

Satyaraj from  Challengers  won the Best bowler  with bat and gloves. Punit  Shankar of Runbunkure  for his awesome bowling figure 2.3 -0- 8-7 , wicket every other ball a had a special trophy.  Arun.S of  Strikers won best fielding award  for keeping gloves. Ramesh from Cricfighters  won Best Batsman  -Bat and Gloves. Manoj Pushpaka Kumar won  a full Cricket kit  for the best all-round performance
