The Thai startup, whose name translates to “ask the teacher” in Thai, aims to help preschoolers in kindergarten,  wins Echelon 2014 as Most Promising Startup.

Taamkru is the one of the exhibitors in the Startup Marketplace as part of  Echelon 2014

Since its launch on January 16, 2013, in conjunction with Teachers’ Day in the Southeast Asian country, the startup has seen more than 80,000 monthly unique visits for its website, and garnered more than 70,000 downloads for its iOS app. The Android app is slated for release later this month.

While the startup has been bootstrapped since day one, it has been generating revenue through advertising on its website.

Echelon 2014 , showcasing the top 60 startups from Asia, handpicked from 400 applications will represent the next wave of innovation to hit Southeast Asia and aims to be the platform connecting investors with startups as well as founders, industry leaders and media.

Echelon 2014 is being held at Singapore Expo Max Atria on the 10th and 11th of June 2014 from 9: 00 AM to 10:00 PM.
