Singapore: High Commission of India in Singapore organizing 172 yoga sessions and more than 100 different venues to celebrate International Day of Yoga.

21st June was declared as the International Day of Yoga by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 2014, with broad support from 177-member states. The declaration came after the call for the adoption of 21st June as International Day of Yoga by Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, during his address to UN General Assembly on 27 September 2014

High Commission organizing the 4th International Day of Yoga celebrations from 16 to 24 June 2018 with the support of Peoples’ Association, ActiveSG and SportSG, Narpani, Art of Living, Isha Foundation, Vyasa Yoga, Sahaja Yoga, Jal Yoga, Indian banks such as State Bank of India, schools such as the Global Indian International Schools, corporates such as Himalaya, GMR, Tata Group of companies, and Reliance, and many local associations.

The 3rd International Day of Yoga had received tremendous support from Singapore and was celebrated across 70 plus centres
