With new integration between Gmail and Google+, Users of Gmail soon gaining the ability to email any Google+ contact that allows emails from the entire Google+ network. Google says the feature is rolling out “over the next couple of days” to everyone that uses Gmail and Google+.

The good news is that your email address isn't visible to a Google+ connection unless you send that person an email, and likewise, that person’s email address isn’t visible to you unless they send you an email. Because of the privacy implications of this feature — and the possibility of overwhelming the inboxes of more public figures — Google has at least put controls in place that allow you to specify who can send you emails.
