International Yoga Day Celebrated in Boise by Indian Consulate
The Indian Consulate in Seattle organized an International Yoga Day event on June 21 at Veterans Park, Boise, as part of a nationwide celebration across 16 cities in 9 U.S. states.
A 45-minute yoga session was led by Professor Bhoj Raj Singh, Michelle Evans, and Sucheta Chopra. The event aimed to raise awareness of yoga’s physical, mental, and spiritual benefits under the theme “Yoga for Self and Society.”
Coordinated by Manju Rajendran, the event brought together Indian community members. Participants received free T-shirts, yoga mats, and refreshments.
