Singapore girl’s team reign supreme in Jakarta

Singapore's female bowlers won two more golds at the Asian School Tenpin Bowling Championships in Jakarta yesterday.

The Singapore 'A' team of Kimberly Ooi, Tracy See, Kristin Quah and Joey Yeo clinched the gold with 4,759 pinfalls, ahead of South Korea (4,707) and Indonesia 'A' (4,612).
 
The Republic also swept all the medals in the girls' All-Events, with Tracy taking the gold, Kimberly and Joey clinching the silver and bronze respectively. In the boys' team event, Singapore 'B' finished second behind winners Indonesia 'A'.
 
Singapore currently lead the medal standings with 6 golds, 3 silvers and 1 bronze.
