Another English Summer

Cricket at its best can be enjoyed only in England. Adding fun to this English summer is the 5 test series between England and India.

India started its tour with a short T20 serious win against Ireland. Repeated the feat against England in the T20 series, but faced a set back in the one-dayers. The real test begins from here on.

Test cricket is the best form of this game and India will be looking forward to improve on their overseas win record.

For a change the English summer has been hot with temperatures in the range of 30-33 degrees, exposing India to familiar playing conditions. The key though will be the “swing factor” which prevails in English conditions irrespective of the heat. The Duke balls play a key role as they hit the deck hard thus contributing towards the swing. Spin also will be a key deciding factor.

India has the batting prowess to give England a tough fight. On the bowling front the Indian outfit has performed well on foreign soil in the past year.

India is in a good position to win a full fledged series in overseas condition. Test cricket is a patient watch and this will be a good series to sit back and relax.
