Dr. Biju’s ‘Sound of Silence’ screening in Singapore on 28th July

Award winning Indie filmmaker Dr. Biju’s film “Sound of Silence”, which is made in Tibetan and Hindi languages, screening at GV Vivocity -Singapore on July 28th . The film shot in Himachal Pradesh with theatre artistes and Buddhist monks from Tibet. Sound of Silence is being produced by Dr. A K Pillai under the banner of Maya Movies.

Sound of Silence tells story of a neglected mute boy in the Himalayas has lost his mother at birth. When his father goes behind bars, the boy faces a lonely life. With nowhere to go, he joins a Buddhist monastery.

Dr. Biju’s Indian filmmaker, three times winner of India’s National Film Award. His debut film “Saira” screened at Cannes. His films have been screened at many international film festivals, such as Cannes, Montreal, Shanghai, Cairo, New York, Telluride and Jeonju. He has served as jury member for India’s film awards and international festivals.
