Singapore, October 16, 2023 – The art weekend in Singapore kickstarted with the inauguration at Maya Gallery of “Tranquil Essence,” a mesmerizing solo exhibition by the incredibly talented artist, Jaleela Niaz. 

This marks Jaleela’s fourth solo show, and it promises to be a showcase of 40 stunning mixed media paintings inspired by nature and Islamic calligraphy. “Tranquil Essence” is not just an exhibition; it is an artistic journey into the delicate and intricate fusion of the natural world and the beauty of Islamic calligraphy. With each brushstroke, Jaleela Niaz weaves a narrative that transcends cultures and speaks to the soul.

The exhibition is set to open its doors to the public from October 14 to 28, 2023, at the Maya Gallery located at 57 Genting Lane #05-00, Singapore 349564. 

The grand opening on October 14, from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, was a captivating event, graced by the esteemed presence of Assoc Prof Dr. Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, Minister of State for the Ministry of Home Affairs & Ministry of National Development (Nee Soon).

Art enthusiasts and connoisseurs can also look forward to a unique experience on October 21 from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. 

An engaging Art Conversation is scheduled to take place, providing an opportunity to delve deeper into the creative mind of Jaleela Niaz and explore the inspirations behind her exceptional works.

Maya Gallery’s regular opening hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, 1 pm to 7 pm, with closures on Mondays and public holidays.
